Summer Beauty: Top 5
SPF is a fave all year around, but during summer I like to opt for an ultra high one to protect my skin and prevent premature ageing. I love the SkinCeuticals Ultra Defense because it feels and applies like a moisturiser - easy to blend, no white residue and works well with makeup over the top!
2. Eye Pads
Aesthetically pleasing and the ultimate de-puffer. These Pixi DetoxifEye Patches are just the dream! I keep them in the fridge and apply them under my eyes for those early wake ups. They instantly de puff and make me feel more awake!
3. Sunshine Drops
If you follow my YouTube videos, you will know how much I loveeee the Drunk Elephant Sunshine Drops! It is literally sunshine in a bottle - which is ideal seeing as my SPF blocks out any real sun. I use it as a substitute to a foundation by simply mixing it into my moisturiser or SPF. It leaves you with the most gorgeous and natural looking base whilst feeling light on the skin - so ideal for the 'no makeup' makeup days!
4. Vitamin C
Vitamin C is an amazing ingredient for both protecting and correcting your skin from sun damage. The Murad Vitamin C range is expensive, but so effective! I noticed pigmentation on my skin for the first time earlier this year and I was keen to combat it early on. This product has made a noticeable difference, so I am very happy! I will also link the Body Shops Vitamin C too as an affordable dupe.
5. Facial Spray
A heatwave must!! Instantly cooling and refreshing on the skin, helping to hydrate and replenish. My favourite is this Super Facialist Rose Hydrate - it smells like fresh roses and applies as a dreamy, fine mist which is perfect over makeup as you don't get those annoying water droplets like other spritzes.
